DESCRIPTION:Resume Writing Workshop: Showcase your skills and experience! \nIf you wonder what your resume should look like and what to include\, AHEC can help. Even if you have little or no work experience\, you have a lot to tell a prospective employer. Think: career objectives\, relevant coursework\, volunteer experiences\, training and certifications\, personal qualities\, and achievements. December’s Professional Development Pop-Up is a workshop designed to translate your academic and life experience into a resume suitable for a health-related occupation or work-setting. \nThe AHEC team will be joined by mentors from the UVM Larner College of Medicine to share tips and tricks for building an academic or health-career focus resume.  We’ll provide tools and resources\, and give you plenty of time to start getting your ideas in writing\, with feedback from peers and mentors in small groups.
