Join us for a free Financial Aid Forms workshop. At this informal workshop, VSAC will assist you as you file your FAFSA and Vermont state grant application. This event is only open to students and families of Harwood Union High School. Please register in advance or contact the guidance office with any questions. Please be sure to create your FSA ID a few days prior to coming to the workshop. Students and parents will each need their own ID and can sign up at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. Financial Aid & Managing College Costs: Harwood Union High School
Attention high school juniors & sophomores and families: Join VSAC Aspirations School Specialist, Ellen Bagnato, for a free Financial Aid & Managing College Costs presentation. At this presentation, we will provide an overview of how families pay for college costs and the different types of financial aid, as well as the application process and timelines. We will also share with you several websites that can help you research the true cost of colleges and get ready to file financial aid forms.
VSAC Senior Survey Professional Learning
Senior Survey Data Exploration for High School Educators 9:00AM - 2:00PM VSAC, WINOOSKI The VSAC Senior Survey provides "real-time" feedback on the student experience at your school as well as data on the student experience across Vermont. Until now, many educators haven't had the time or expertise to dive into the results and create meaningful take-aways. This workshop is geared toward individuals or school teams of 2-5 high school leaders. These leaders could be counselors, principals, WBL coordinators, Talent Search or GEAR UP counselors, advisory leaders, or other educators who take the lead in implementing post-high school planning at your school site. Participants will: Examine your school-specific 2022 data with guidance from experienced VSAC Aspirations School Specialists. Utilize data to identify areas of celebration as well as opportunities to improve the post-high school planning experience for students and families at your school. Enjoy a free lunch from VSAC.
