The Institute for American Apprenticeships is recruiting for The UVM Medical Center Phlebotomy Technician Apprenticeship Program. This program hires apprentices from the first day of training, starting at $16.63/hour plus benefits. Apprentices spend the first five (5) weeks in intensive training and preparation for the Phlebotomy Certification exam, which is included in the program. After those five weeks, they begin on-the-job training full-time at UVM Medical Center. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be over the age of 18.
