What you might do
Physicians care for patients by examining them, diagnosing problems, and deciding on treatment.  They work with other staff to treat patients and help them stay healthy.  Physicians can specialize in a type of patient (such as children or the elderly), part of the body (such as the heart or eyes), or field of medicine (such as emergency medicine or surgery).
